Some similar looks in bedroom have sold well on the high end in solid wood. WOOD/COLOR: Whitewashed pine laminates with hand finished solid maple turnings. A recent national survey of retail youth category buyers showed a decisive 85% prefer wood grained finishes, especially whitewash over the painted white look. FINISH: Polyurethane integrated top coat on all casepiece surfaces. Maple turnings are hand finished to match and top coated with extra durable water based lacquer. HARDWARE: The exclusively designed and custom made "Heart" shaped ornament is made of all metal and is painted for extra durability. The ornament is designed for both added appeal and to protect the finger hold opening in every drawer against long term wear. CONSTRUCTION: European 32 mm dowel construction with roller glide drawer runners. Drawers are with wood grained sides and white bottoms. Solid wood turnings on the Poster Bed feature metal to metal connectors and metal plates with slots for steel hook on rails. The Sleigh Bed includes fiberboard rails with integrated metal hook on type connectors and pegs, wood corner reinforcements, and wood support slats. SPECIAL FEATURES: Cute and inviting "Heart" motif is featured on every piece. Several bed options are available and are priced to "drive" the sale of the entire suite. Serpentine shaped edges featured throughout, but most noticeably on the mirror, headboards, hutch and all casepiece bases. All casepieces feature bowed tops with matching under-top mouldings for an extra thick appearance. The edges are also smoothly rounded to coordinate with the curved pillasters. One hutch can be used on either the desk or single dresser. One mirror can be used on either the single or double dresser. Poster Bed can be used with or without the optional canopy frame. Single dresser, mirror, panel headboard and night stand can be combined for promotionally priced set that accomodates "Sleep and Storage".
